On a recent vacation, I brought back a couple pieces of beautiful glassware. I don't know what triggered me, but suddenly I spot a l-i-t-t-l-e fancy for glassware, especially faceted glass.
Introducing my fragile darlings...
A set of vintage tall amber glasses with rose prints.
I love the colour, rose prints on both sides of the glass & the faceted base.
Two tall clear glasses...
The faceted base caught my eye. |
Found this in a cookware shop. I was looking for a glass cookie jar. I love those words on the jar. Makes it look so vintage.
And my most wonderful glass find are these...
A set of vintage whisky bottles by Brama Davidson, a glass manufacturer in England which has already closed down in the 1990s.
Little brass signs hanging on the bottle neck. |
The bottles have markings of Brama Davidson England |
I didn't mind all of them traveling with me on a 7-hour plane ride. I'm just so glad I found these treasures.
And my hunt for glass continued last weekend.
The vertical lines on the dome-shape jars are so vintage-like.
I haven't thought of what to use them for yet...
And a small glass platter.
Notice the fleur de lis? |
