Earlier this month, I returned to Singapore for a buddy's wedding while Mr. LTC's objective for the trip was to complete the 42 km Standard Chartered run.
Drama unveiled while we were retrieving our luggage. One of them was waiting for us while another had gone missing! And the worst thing was my bridesmaid dress (the one I was supposed to wear the next morning!) was in that bag, along with my makeup kit! There was a similar size black America Tourister still waiting on the conveyor belt, so obviously, some joker has mistaken our black Hush Puppies for theirs! (I wonder how it could have been mistaken!)
A report was made and fingers crossed as Mr. LTC and I left the airport. A call was made to Ms. Dependable, one of the bridesmaids, for the address of the shop where the dress was purchased. (I couldn't be freaking out the Bride on the night before, right?) Ms. Dependable managed to wrestle one dress from the shop which was reserved for another customer and I needed to just pick it up. "Keep breathing...", Ms. Dependable says. Foundation, blusher, shirt, socks, undergarments...Mr. LTC and I were frantically making a list of things to buy that night while on the way to the shop. And then the airport called!
All mayhem ended and we could finally breathe...
The wedding was heartwarming and the gatecrashing brought loads of laughter and tears to us. Best wishes to Ger and her Mr. Washington!
Another objective achieved during this trip was to indulge in Singaporean food! On my checklist: bak chor mee, BBQ chicken wings, BBQ stingray, char kway teow, fried hokkien mee, or luak, chicken rice, lor duck rice, nasi lemak, roti prata, Ya Kun. All struck off! (hand rubbing my tummy...)
Meeting up with friends (and their new-borns!) was definitely in the books. My weekends were "fully booked" months before my trip and I was almost out every weekday nights too. Too many diverse groups of friends to catch up with, too little time. But it's ok. I will be back in Singapore during CNY. CNY in Hong Kong is boring for us because there's no relatives for us to visit and no mahjong (for me).

It's extremely hard to get my momentum back and listing my products after this trip. And with Christmas & New Year around the corner, hosting relatives in HK, CNY, there's so many things to look forward to! It looks like the holiday mood isn't dissipating anytime soon.
